In New Zealand, nearly half of all adults consume two or fewer servings of vegetables daily and in Australia, less than 10% of adults eat the recommended five or more serves of vegetables each day. And the stats are worse for children. The troubling reality is that diets frequently rely on highly processed foods devoid of the essential nutrients needed for our body to thrive.

Unlike many supplements on the market that rely on synthetic ingredients, Bio Blends commits to natural, food-based ingredients. Our products are formulated to be recognised by your body just as it would recognise real food, ensuring optimal absorption and effectiveness.

Most of our products are delivered in capsule form (one is a powder) to avoid the use of synthetic binding agents required for tablets that are not in alignment with what Bio Blends stands for. In order to encapsulate ingredients, they must first be mixed to perfection and some of them, by nature, are sticky. This would usually mean that flow agents need to be added in the manufacturing process, to allow the blend to be encapsulated.

Our manufacturing partners are gems of humans who know Dr Libby won’t allow anything synthetic, so they sourced rice husks to replace the substances typical added. That’s how far we go to ensure you get highly effective supplements made from real food and herbs, rather than synthetics. As an aside, if our manufacturing partners need to add rice husks so that the powder will flow to allow encapsulation, we use the most minuscule amount – nothing is added to dilute the potency of the ingredients and the end product.
